—What is it about Mykonos that is so special to you?
Mykonos is my birthplace and the place I have lived for all my life and that makes it very special for me. It is a beautiful sunny island with friendly inhabitants, a big variety of beautiful beaches with golden sand and a unique architecture, especially in its city, with "sparkling " white houses and very narrow streets. It lies next to the famous island of Delos, which was a sacred island for ancient Greeks, the birthplace of Apollo and his sister Artemis, with thousands of visitors from ancient years until nowadays.
—Give us the essence of your work in a sentence.
Adelon sunset bar was named by the island which was moving around the Aegean Sea and Zeus ordered his brother Poseidon to reveal it and to make it from Adelon (the one which cannot be seen) to Delos (the one you can see) so that his mistress, Leto, could give birth to her children.
—What's the best moment of the day for you?
The best moment of the day for me is when i am coming to Adelon in the afternoon, trying to relax from the tense of the day, and watch the sun diving into the sea painting the sky with the beautiful colors of the sunset.
—In what ways does your work meet the island's joie de vivre?
People are coming to Mykonos from all over the world to see the beautiful sunsets. What we do is to give them the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent sunset from our well-placed spot with a cocktail and relaxing music.

Mykonos is a top international tourism destination that thousands of people are visiting every year. Our target is to preserve the well-known hospitality, which made us famous, by keeping the provided services as good as it gets, and also by trying not to lose contact with our traditions and not to harm the environment and the unique physiognomy of the island.
—Which model example should Mykonian tourism follow in the future?
Mykonos by itself is a tourism model example that other places are trying to imitate. Never the less, we must always be careful not to exaggerate so that we can be accessible for those who want to visit us and be genuine hospitable and smiling Μykonians.
—Absolute happiness in Mykonos is...
...to be able to enjoy the horde of tourisms during the summer and the absolute silent of the winter.
